Congratulations are in order for Azrul Abdul Kadir, a DPAG graduate student supervised by Kieran Clarke and Rhys Evans, who has been selected for the LERU Doctoral Summer School 2018.

LERU (the League of European Research Universities), is a well-established network of research-intensive universities, who develop and disseminate their views on research, innovation and higher education through policy papers, statements, meetings and events helping to shape policy at the EU Level.

Their doctoral summer school is an annual event, which aims to create a unique international, intersectorial and interdisciplinary environment, in view of proposing solutions for major societal challenges.

This year's summer school will take place in July at the KU Leaven in Belgium. It will bring together 44 doctoral candidates from LERU member universities, based in 12 European countries, including Azrul!
